4 Tips for Managing Writers

As websites began to grow, adding more writers is usually the next step. We get to a point we are unable to produce all the necessary content on our own. Adding writers is all about management. When adding more than one writer, you must be prepared create a business environment to encourage professional conduct from your writers. Here are a few tips I follow to manage my writers:

1. Guidelines
Create a set of guidelines you want your writers to follow. This should include all blogging protocols you follow, writing styles and more. Once they sign on to write for you, make sure you give them as much information as possible about what you expect and what they should expect. It’s good practice to create an agreement for your writers to sign so you can ensure they are willing and understand the guidelines of your website.
